ATLAS Performance Management

Effective Date: August 4, 2026

1. Who We Are

ATLAS Performance Management ("ATLAS," "we," "us," or "our") is a software platform operated by ATLAS PM LLC, 75 E. Cherry Street #5B, Rahway, NJ 07065. ATLAS provides body-worn camera (BWC) performance review and officer performance management software to law enforcement agencies.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with our websites, the ATLAS platform, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

2. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to visitors to our websites, individuals who contact us, and authorized users of the ATLAS platform. Where ATLAS processes records on behalf of a law enforcement agency under a service agreement, that agency is the owner and controller of its records, and the agency's own policies, retention schedules, and legal obligations govern those records. This policy describes our practices as the platform provider.

3. What ATLAS Does Not Collect

ATLAS does not ingest, store, process, or analyze body-worn camera video or audio. The platform contains no video upload capability, no audio processing, no biometric identification, and no artificial intelligence or algorithmic scoring of officer performance. All performance assessments in ATLAS are authored by human supervisors. ATLAS never touches the evidence chain.

4. Information We Collect

Account and Profile Information

When an agency creates user accounts, we collect the information needed to operate those accounts: name, work email address, agency affiliation, rank, and role assignment. Authentication credentials are managed through our platform infrastructure and stored in hashed form; we do not have access to user passwords.

Agency-Provided Personnel Records

Participating agencies enter roster information about their personnel, including names, badge numbers, ranks, and work email addresses. This information is provided and controlled by the agency.

Performance Review Records

The core function of ATLAS is the creation of structured performance review records by agency supervisors. These records include case numbers, incident dates and locations, incident types, checklist-based assessments, scores, outcomes, and supervisor notes. These records are created by, owned by, and controlled by the agency.

Communications

If you contact us by email, phone, or through a contact form, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, contact details, agency, and the content of your message. Calls to our published business line may be handled by an automated assistant, and call details may be recorded for routing and follow-up purposes.

Usage and Log Information

The platform maintains activity logs for security and audit purposes, including sign-in events, record submissions, and administrative actions. Our web infrastructure may collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited. Our websites do not use advertising trackers.

5. How We Use Information

We do not sell personal information. We do not use platform data for advertising. We do not use agency records to train artificial intelligence models.

6. How Information Is Shared

We share information only in the following circumstances:

7. Public Records Considerations

Records created by a law enforcement agency within ATLAS belong to that agency and may be subject to the agency's obligations under applicable public records laws, including the New Jersey Open Public Records Act, as well as retention requirements applicable to law enforcement records. Requests for agency records should be directed to the agency that owns them. ATLAS responds to such matters at the direction of the record-owning agency, except where we are independently required by law to respond.

8. Data Security

We employ administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we process, including encryption of data in transit, database-level row security that isolates each agency's data, role-based access controls enforced at both the application and database layers, immutable audit records for selection and review activity, and routine credential management. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we encourage users to protect their credentials and report suspected issues promptly.

9. Data Retention

Agency records are retained for the duration of the agency's service agreement and handled at termination in accordance with that agreement and applicable records-retention requirements. Audit records, such as selection receipts and activity logs, are retained as permanent records by design, because their integrity depends on their permanence. Website inquiry and support communications are retained as long as needed for business purposes.

10. Your Choices and Access

Platform users who wish to review or correct their account information should contact their agency administrator, who controls user accounts within the agency. Individuals whose information appears in agency records should direct requests to the record-owning agency. For questions about information held directly by ATLAS PM LLC, such as website inquiries, contact us using the information below.

11. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for use by law enforcement professionals and are not directed to anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting agency clients will be communicated in accordance with our service agreements.
